Waiting for the Promise

Before He rose to Heaven, Jesus told the Disciples to wait for the Promise. What promise? The power God had waiting for them, to full them, infuse them, take them to a place of authority that would allow them to change the World for all eternity. What are WE waiting for? And how are we waiting?
